M-Care Healthcare is owned and operated by Amanda Mogoi, APRN (she/her), an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing and board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Amanda has provided primary specialized care to patients in the Wichita community for more than 5 years and brings extensive experience in both acute and long-term care settings. 

Amanda founded M-Care to address longstanding gaps in access to equitable, affirming healthcare. She is deeply committed to bodily autonomy, patient-centered decision making, and expanding access to high-quality care for LGBTQ+, transgender, nonbinary, and underserved communities. 

As a World Professional Association for Transgender Health-trained clinician, Amanda has completed over 300 hours of continuing education focused specifically on LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming healthcare. Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine, informed consent, and respect for each patient’s identity, goals, and lived experience. 

Amanda is an active member of the Wichita LGBT Health Coalition and was recognized as a 2022 Healthcare Hero by the Wichita Business Journal for her leadership and advocacy in inclusive healthcare.
